Basic diagnostics, maintenance, adjustment, and lubrication on site:
Aimed at: Any brand of installed valves:
External cleaning through degreaser agents and high-pressure water blasting
Lubrication of required parts and adjustments to serviceable parts
Open and closed operational testing
If the process allows for it, perform sealing tests on the valve
Adjustment and placement of stem packing where a packing gland system is exposed
This maintenance does not include replacing parts, accessories, etc., damaged, or defective at the time of maintenance.
Maintenance for recertification of a Walworth valve:
Aimed at: Out-of-warranty Walworth brand valves in storage that have not been in operation:
On-site survey of valves to verify their condition and determine if maintenance may be performed on-site or at the plant. (The first inspection to determine the scope of quotation).
A quotation is issued supported by the survey conducted, and the customer agrees with the location.
The survey should determine if it is required, to include a hydrostatic test to determine the condition of the seals.
A new nameplate with the same serial number will be affixed. The manufacture date will be updated to the date of maintenance performed; And the warranty policy will apply thereafter.
Maintenance for reconditioning or replacement of Trims:
Aimed at: Any brand of valve in operation requiring replacement of worn internal parts or new valves requiring replacement of internal material:
On-site lifting of valves requiring maintenance overhaul of internal parts, including sealing areas.
The maintenance service will be quoted based on the enhanced visit survey and customer approval requirements.
Maintenance is to be performed in the plant. Therefore, on-site valve pick-up will be coordinated with the customer once the OC is in place.
This maintenance does not include the assessment of the valve pressure container, such as the valve body, hoods, yokes, ends, internal cast parts, etc.
The plant will manufacture the required parts, assemble the bodies, and plugs if necessary, and machine the required parts, cleaning them with descales.
Upon completion of the work, a test run, and hydrostatic tests should be conducted.
Sandblasting and painting with standard paint applied at Walworth for shipping.
A maintenance certificate is issued indicating the scope of the maintenance performed so that as of that date, the warranty period will be effective, which will be one year for the replaced parts.
Maintenance to correct faults and accessories:
Aimed at: Any brand of valve that may or may not be in operation:
On-site survey to establish the scope of the required maintenance; in said visit, the resources required should be agreed upon with the client and the operating conditions.
Quoting the required maintenance based on the on-site survey.
Once the budget is approved, the maintenance is conducted.
Once completed, a report or certificate of the work performed is issued, establishing the completion date to initiate the warranty period, which will be one year.
Servicing policy of at least one year:
Aimed at: New valves.
Valve maintenance and inspection every four months directly on site
Each maintenance will review moving parts, lubrication, and inspecting the operating systems.
Acquiring this policy guarantees the customer that, in case of failure in any part of the valve, its replacement will be carried out free of charge, including a full replacement of the valve depending on the failure detected.
Training the maintenance staff of the company purchasing the policy so that they can determine the basic inspection points required, and in case of an eventuality before the four months inspection visit, they can report it to be able to address it within the following 72 hours, being non-critical, if it is critical, it will proceed in less than 24 hours.
A follow-up call will be generated stating the preventive maintenance performed and corrective maintenance if necessary.
Acquiring the service policy provides the benefit of extending the warranty period to one year after the expiration of the warranty.
On-site hydrostatic testing (SAT):
Aimed at: Any brand of valve requiring hydrostatic testing:
Necessary equipment to perform the tests, bench, flanges, hoses, etc.
Crew of three operating assistants and one technician with a level II degree in leak testing
A leak test - An added value that no other company offers is that in case of leaks using bodies, threads, or bad calibration would be adjusted at no additional cost and under the authority of valve specialists.
Diagnostic, Retrofitting, and Spare Parts Manufacturing Service:
Aimed at: Any brand of valve requiring special service:
Diagnostic analysis and retrofitting required on site.
New parts are manufactured from a physical match. It does not necessarily have to be mounted on a valve. It can be offered separately.
Perform the necessary adjustments required by the customer. If possible, this can be in the installed valve or directly enabled by the plant.
NON Destructive Testing and Commissioning.
Aimed at: AAny equipment requiring non-destructive testing and circuits where valve start-up is required to avoid damage:
Non-destructive testing on-site except the radiographic technique
Commissioning valves in a pipeline or system to properly operate and position valves during the start-up of a line
Valve compliance verification analysis and failure analysis:
Aimed at: Any brand and type of valve:
Materials study, standard dimensions, and assembly verification
Non-destructive testing, cast x-rays
Hydrostatic testing, if applicable
Assessment of compliance with the design standard
Adaptation of any type of actuators.
Aimed at: We can supply valves operated with actuators for different applications such as SDV, BDV, XV, VBE, VAAR, MOV and VOE among others.
These applications can be performed with the following actuators:
Pneumatic Systems
Hydraulic Systems
Electrical Equipment
Hydropneumatic
Preventive, corrective and greater maintenance on valves
Aimed at: Any brand
Depending on the case, it can be done at the facility or at the plant
